Would anyone know what model of laser they use? Would like to find out what the purchase and maintenance costs are of the lasers and how long it takes to depreciate and how often they need to update. I am assuming this is a major cost.

Hi Nickolas

In Q4 2022 the company spent R$ 20.6 million on laser machines, roughly $4 million USD.

The brand they purchased was the Gentle Lease Pro MAX, made by Candela Medical.

I’m not sure exactly how many machines they purchased or the price they negotiated per machine. I didn't find prices on Candela's site, so I think you would need to reach out to Candela for pricing. I have seen ranges of $15k-75k on other sites, and since the Pro Max is at the higher end of the product line, I would assume the upper end of that range.

The depreciation percentage for the laser machines in the company’s financials is 10% to 20%, so I believe the useful life for these machines is from 5-10 years, likely depending on the type of machine.

Hope this helps!

Interesting... I thought Korea had most of the aesthetic and plastic surgery stocks 😂

lol. Brazil invented the bikini wax!

And the aesthetic market is much bigger than I expected.

Brazilian and some other women take care of themselves (or for (potential) partners) than most of their western counterparts. ;-)
